The newsletter that turns wellbeing & mental health on its head. With a smile. 🙃
It's me. Crafting the next cheeky, grin-inducing
Daily Reminder email, just for you.
Everything we're told, is built on a fundamental, all-encompassing misunderstanding.
There's much to unlearn, so let me hold your hand and lead the way. One helpful email at a time.
A great way to start the day!
There are many unread emails in my inbox – Giles’ are not among them! It's always a fun part of my day, reading your genuine and witty emails, all highlighting this crazy human experience with much honesty and a sprinkling of humour. It's a daily reminder that's helpful and entertaining, thank you!
~ Sandra (Australia)
So grateful to have have come across these!
I find the Daily Reminders a thrilling, happy-making, captivating read. Giles is cheerful, humble, light, funny and REAL! I look forward to opening them each morning, save my favourites and re-read them when I want to feel inspired. (When's the book out??)

THEN AGAIN, MOST PEOPLE DON'T RECEIVE THE DAILY REMINDER EACH MORNING.
I'm ready to join the gang and actually look forward to opening my email each morning 💌
They're such a good daily reminder to slow down, get present and take things less seriously and they always seem relevant to what I'm experiencing in the moment.

I'm going through a difficult patch and reading the Daily Reminders, especially in the morning, provides me with a little reminder that everything is ok. If you're struggling to understand why you're feeling a certain way, then these emails are a good way to learn a different perspective.

I absolutely love the lighthearted and fun style of writing – that's what draws me to the Daily Reminders. There's no feeling of “I should…” read them, more of a delightful, “Ooh, let's see what Giles is thinking or seeing today” … like a lovely little gift!
Katy, UK
The Daily Reminders brighten up my morning and help me get through a day of challenges. Keep going, Giles!
Mark, UK
They are great reminders – a daily shot of clarity and humour. They orient me back to my innate health and resilience – and they make me laugh!

I'm always such a positive person, but sometimes the mind does its thing and I can't shift the thoughts… but then I receive the Daily Reminder from Giles and everything is suddenly lighter, brighter and back to normal!

Busy people, wrapped up in their problems can't see a way out. These enjoyable, funny, relatable Daily Reminders help to slow you down, get you out of your head and get a different perspective. And they're always there!

The Daily Reminders are well written, lively, human and a great, loving jolt of inspiration. It's a freeing way to start my day and helps me live life in peace and harmony. We really appreciate the time you take to do these, thank you Giles!

We're all conditioned to look outside of ourselves for peace and wellbeing. The Daily Reminders help us to look toward where these things are actually found! It's a refreshing and positive take on being human… something we all need right now.
Eric, USA
I love receiving the Daily Reminders - they're a laugh out loud way of looking at the mind and its shenanigans, and spot on, for illustrating that we are not our thoughts or feelings. They're presented with great humour - they make me smile!
Emma, UK
Giles has a lighthearted, quirky way of making sense of how we take our thinking and ourselves too seriously. I appreciate how the Daily Reminders frame the situations many of us find ourselves in, and how easy it is to find a new, more helpful thought.
Melissa, USA
In brief… a doctor (formerly a surgeon) with a tireless interest in human psychology, who left the NHS on an accidental quest to find the source of fulfilment and happiness. Imagine my surprise when, 15 years later, I found the answer! Why wouldn't I share it with you?!
Also, I like writing. A lot.
It's part of my job, yes. I have a 1:1 restorative coaching practice, run group workshops for organisations, host online events, create educational video materials, guest with alarming frequency on other people's podcasts, run a monthly ‘GP’ surgery with a difference, write a monthly wellbeing column for a magazine… and still find time to pen a Daily Reminder each day.
They are free, yes! The snag is, they're so damned helpful, you'll find yourself drawn to your phone first thing each morning, to see what the next one contains. (Sorry about that.) At least they'll keep you off social media.
Try them out for a while. If they're not for you, it's a one-click unsubscribe.
